Halloween Awesomeness

No illustrations this time, but for a good reason. My wife and I were in charge of the spook alley for the ward Halloween party. It was a hard, long, back breaking process, especially when it's just two of us working on it for most of the day, but it was worth it to provide the kids in the community with some Halloween fun. It was more of an obstacle course, but thats fine, because it would have scared all the toddlers. So here's some more pics after the jump, and a bonus shot of us in our Halloween costumes (Scott Pilgrim and Ramona Flowers) enjoy.

Jurassic Sketch

Been a while, but I figured I could start working on all the sketches I have lying around, and see if I can get some artwork up. So this is the start of what I got. Here's Robert Muldoon the game warden of Jurassic Park. Love the movie and I always thought he was one toughest guys in the book so I drew him how I always imagined him. Surly, mean tempered, and takes no guff from any dinosaur (even raptors).

"Legend of Korra" and Some of My Heroes

So for the past few years I have really loved "Avatar: The Last Airbender."Amazing concept, brilliant story, and beautiful artwork. I even own the artwork book, because I love looking at the illustrations that they were able to come up with.
I guess it's old news that the original creators were making a sequel series Called "The Legend of Korra".  I just saw the first two episodes here. Yep the creators have still got it. I guess there is a reason I really like their style.

Space, Space, wanna go to space!

For all of you who wondered where I went,  and if I'm still alive here's your answer. It is quite possible that I am in a state of life.  Actually I've been working odd jobs on the maintenance crew at the local High School. Unfortunately, a real job takes a lot of time away from creating something new, still I was able to crank out some concept art for a game company that was interested in my background ideas. The first two are the latest ones I have sent off. The others are my first attempts at sci-fi when I was first applied. Enjoy and let me know what you think.

New Blog, New Ideas, Same Old Randomness

Moved over from another blog. Figured it was time for an update. And I would like to present my Native American side a bit more. Kaa-Tani is actually my middle name. In Tewa it means "When the Leaves Fall" or roughly fall time. Since I was born in late fall.
I'll try and post more to this one as I should now have time to do some actual artwork. If you've followed me before, thank you and welcome back. If your new, I hope you enjoy the artwork.
